A Resource Guide has been created by MMAC members who have successfully gone through the IMG process and matched successfully in Canada
We encourage all International Medical Graduates to begin by contacting Health Force Ontario (http://www.healthforceontario.ca/en/Home/Physicians)
This will provide the relevant background information that is essential for all IMGs. After this, please email us at
IMG@muslimmeds.ca and we will share the Resource Guide created by our members.

Who
a) IMG’s who have successfully matched in Canada and/or USA, who are currently in practice, or in residency/fellowship. RECENTLY matched IMG’s are especially encouraged to joinb) Those with an expertise/experience in application review (i.e. those with strong english skills and/or Human Resource background), including review of applications, personal statements and interview tips
Why
a) To give back to your fellow IMG’s going through the difficult process
b) To provide support, mentorship, guidance on residency applications to Canada and USAc) To provide general advice regarding entry exams (i.e. NAC, MCCEE, USMLE, TOFEL, etc)
Tasks
The IMG Advisory Panel for MMAC will provide all applicants with a comprehensive IMG resource guide. If after reading that guide, if applicants still need help or have questions, they will be directed to other members of the IMG advisory panel and/or Health Force Ontario.You will be asked to correspond via email to questions applicants may have, and, if applicable/appropriate, you may elect to phone people in person to provide guidance and help.
