We look forward to you joining us for our fourth Canadian Muslim Mental Health Conference (CMMHC) on Saturday December 12th and Sunday December 13th, 2020.

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto along with the Muslim Medical Association of Canada look forward to being your host. This conference will take place virtually and will focus on mental health topics in the context of Islam and spirituality. Panel members will range from psychiatrists and therapists to spiritual leaders working in the field of mental health.

All health care professionals, students, counsellors, frontline workers (Imams, teachers, guidance counsellors), spiritual leaders and community members of all faiths and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
Accreditation
Please note: We are accredited for sessions on DECEMBER 13th, please see details below. Accreditation letters will be provided to participants who have registered and attended on December 13th 2020 after they have completed their online feedback forms. CME certificates will be provided to you via email within two weeks of the conference. Please note: December 12th 2020 sessions are not accredited and are tailored for the general public to attend.

Accreditation Information
This continuing professional development activity on December 13th 2020 will be held under the Continuing Professional Development, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and Department of Psychiatry.

Accreditation: College of Family Physicians of Canada – Mainpro+: 5.5 credits. This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Continuing Professional Development, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto for up to 5.5 Mainpro+ credits.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada – Section 1 – This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, approved by Continuing Professional Development, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.
